For job seekers

For young people aged 15–24 

Transition to Work supports young people aged 15 to 24 to build confidence, explore career pathways and take practical steps towards employment, study or training. Working one-on-one with a dedicated job coach, participants get the support they need to overcome barriers and move forward at their own pace.

An 18-year-old woman came to us motivated and determined to find work to help support her family. Within weeks of starting, she applied for a role, prepared for her interview with her job coach, and secured the job the very next day.

A participant came to us after a difficult experience at work had left him reluctant to try again. With steady support from his job coach, he rebuilt his confidence, re-engaged with job search and went on to secure a role with a local employer

After working alongside a participant to build their confidence and employability skills we identified a suitable employment opportunity. We worked closely with the employer to ensure a successful transition into the workplace. This included maintaining regular communication, providing ongoing post-placement support and addressing any challenges early to help set both the participant and employer up for success.
